Valentines Day

What are you going to give him for Valentines Day?  There are many Valentine’s Day gift standards - jewelry, flowers, chocolates, and stuffed animals all come to mind.  Popcorn can be part of a gift that is much more creative, and very unique.

Instead of that heart shaped box of chocolates.  Why not give a home made gift of gourmet flavored popcorn?  Several sizes of heart shaped tins are available for purchase.  Some of the larger ones even come with dividers in case you want to give a variety of seasoning and flavors.

What about a gift for her?  If you want to get a little more involved with the person receiving your gift.  Make a date out of it.  Making popcorn balls with the one you love is a fun hands on activity.  You can even shape your popcorn balls into hearts.  This can get a little messy.  But sometimes the messier things are; the more fun they are.  There is no better Valentine’s Day gift than interacting with the one you love.

If messy isn’t for you, make popcorn a different part of your time together.  Pair popcorn with its common companion, a movie.  Give your someone special a favorite movie and some popcorn in a gift basket.  A date night at home with the one you love will make a great Valentine’s Day and night.

Don’t forget the entire family on Valentines Day.  The kids and parents will enjoy a popcorn gift tin or basket.  Better yet, join a “popcorn of the month’ club and receive assortments of popcorn in the mail every month.
